输入保护电路

一般模块电源产品都有内置滤波器，能满足一般电源应用的要求。如果需要更高要求的电源系统，应增加输入滤波网络。可以采用LC或π型网络，但应注意尽量选择较小的电感和较大的电容。
 
为了防止输入电源瞬态高压损坏模块电源，建议用户在输入端接瞬态吸收二极管并配合保险丝使用，以确保模块在安全的输入电压范围之内。为了降低共模噪声，可以增加Y(Cy)电容，一般选择几nf高频电容。R为保险丝，D1为保护二极管，D2为瞬态吸收二极管(P6KE系列)。

遥控开关电路

模块电源的遥控开关操作，是通过REM端进行的。一般控制方式有两种：
 
(1)REM与－VIN(参考地)相连，遥控关断，要求VREF<0.4V。REM悬空或与+VIN相连，模块工作，要求VREM>1V。
 
(2)REM与VIN相连，遥控关断，要求VREM<0.4V。REM与+VIN相连，模块工作，要求VREM>1V。REM悬空，遥控关断，即所谓“悬空关断”(－R)。
 
如果控制要与输入端隔离，则可以使用光电耦合器作为传递控制信号。

模块组合

(1)并联扩容。将相同模块输出端并联，可使输出能力增强，但并联模块的输出电压要调整得比较*，以保证相对均流，同时避免不必要的振荡。对有较大电流输出的模块，还可以仔细设计引线电阻，以达到均流效果。用这种方法并联的模块，不宜超过2个。同时，如果其中一块模块输出有故障，整个系统都将不能正常工作。并联扩容连接电路RL为负载。
 
(2)冗余热备份并联。将相同的模块输出端通过二极管后并联可使输出能力增强，以提高电源系统的可靠性。原则上如果配合相应输出报警电路，将模块放在可以拆卸的母线上，这样，出现故障的模块可以及时更换。用这种方法并联的模块，没有量限制。D一般为肖特基二极管。
 
(3)串联扩容。将相同模块输出端串联，可使输出电压倍增，功率也相应增加，而串联输出端须接二极管以进行保护。
